Sisig Pasta
Sisig Pasta brings crisp cooked sisig into a silky calamansi cream sauce for angel hair.

Ingredients for Sisig Pasta
- 500 g angel hair pasta
- 500 g cooked sisig
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 2 tbsp calamansi juice
- 150 ml cream
- 1 egg yolk
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Chopped spring onions, for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for garnish
How to cook Sisig Pasta
- 1.Cook angel hair according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
- 2.Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic for 3 to 4 minutes until soft and fragrant.
- 3.Add cooked sisig and cook until heated through, crisp, and golden. Stir in calamansi juice and chilli flakes.
- 4.Whisk cream and egg yolk together. Lower heat, add the mixture, and stir gently until lightly thickened without scrambling.
- 5.Toss in pasta, season with salt and pepper, then garnish with spring onions and Parmesan. Serve immediately.
