Etag
Etag is a smoky Cordilleran cured pork best enjoyed simply sautéed with rice.

Ingredients for Etag
- 250 g prepared etag, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons water
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
How to cook Etag
- 1.Rinse the prepared etag briefly if very salty, then pat it dry and slice thinly.
- 2.Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat; sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 3.Add etag and stir-fry for 5 to 7 minutes, until heated through and lightly crisp at the edges.
- 4.Add water and pepper; cook until the water evaporates, then serve hot with rice.
