Pork Monggo
Pork Monggo is a comforting mung-bean stew finished with leafy greens and crunchy chicharon.

Ingredients for Pork Monggo
- 1 cup mung beans
- 6 oz pork, thinly sliced
- 1 Knorr Pork Cube
- 1 bunch spinach, washed
- 1 cup malunggay leaves
- 2 medium tomatoes, cubed
- 1 medium onion, cubed
- 1/2 cup chicharon, crumbled
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 to 2 tbsp fish sauce (patis)
- 6 cups water
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
How to cook Pork Monggo
- 1.Heat oil in a pot and sauté garlic, onion, and tomatoes until softened.
- 2.Add pork and cook until light brown. Pour in water, bring to a boil, and stir in Knorr Pork Cube.
- 3.Add mung beans; cover and simmer over low-medium heat until tender, adding water if needed.
- 4.Add malunggay leaves and spinach; cook 2 minutes. Season with pepper and patis, then cook 2 to 3 minutes.
- 5.Serve topped with crumbled chicharon.
