Copycat Jollibee Honey Beef Rice
Honey Beef Rice combines seared beef with a sweet-savory Filipino-style sauce over rice.

Ingredients for Copycat Jollibee Honey Beef Rice
- 800 g thinly sliced rump steak or sukiyaki-cut beef
- 1 large white onion, thinly sliced
- Oil, as needed
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons flour dissolved in 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup Filipino soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/3 cup honey
- Cooked rice, as desired
How to cook Copycat Jollibee Honey Beef Rice
- 1.Heat about 3 tablespoons oil in a wok over high heat until smoking. Sear beef in batches until browned on both sides; remove.
- 2.Add a little oil and stir-fry onion over medium heat for 1 minute, until its layers separate.
- 3.Add water, scrape up browned bits, and bring to a boil.
- 4.Mix flour slurry, soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and honey; add to wok and boil over high heat.
- 5.Return beef, coat with sauce, cover, and simmer on low for 15 minutes. Serve over cooked rice.
