Spicy Daing na Bangus
Spicy Daing na Bangus is overnight-marinated milkfish pan-fried until deeply golden.

Ingredients for Spicy Daing na Bangus
- 1 medium-to-large bangus, scaled and butterflied
- 2 tbsp Knorr Liquid Seasoning
- 5 cloves garlic, crushed and chopped
- 5 Thai chillies, minced
- 1 tsp crushed whole peppercorns
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup cooking oil
How to cook Spicy Daing na Bangus
- 1.Lay bangus open, belly-side up. Rub with Knorr Liquid Seasoning and rest 5 minutes.
- 2.Rub in peppercorns, chillies, and garlic. Pour over vinegar, turn fish belly-side down, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
- 3.Heat oil in a wide pan until hot. Pan-fry fish until golden brown, using a splatter screen if needed.
- 4.Turn carefully with a wide spatula and fry the second side until golden. Drain and serve with garlic fried rice.
