Odong
Odong is a quick, comforting noodle dish with spicy sardines in tomato sauce and bok choy.

Ingredients for Odong
- 400 g odong noodles
- 400 g can spicy sardines in tomato sauce
- 2 bunches bok choy
- 2 cups water
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 small shallots, minced
- Oil, for sautéing
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
How to cook Odong
- 1.Heat oil in a small pot over medium heat and sauté the garlic and shallots for about 2 minutes, until fragrant and softened.
- 2.Add the spicy sardines with their tomato sauce and pour in the water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- 3.Add the odong noodles and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and infused with the broth.
- 4.Add the bok choy and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, until wilted but still bright green.
- 5.Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper, then serve immediately while hot.
