Fishball Sauce
A sweet, peppery Filipino fishball sauce with a gentle chili heat.

Ingredients for Fishball Sauce
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1 small red chili (labuyo), chopped
How to cook Fishball Sauce
- 1.Whisk flour, water, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, salt, and pepper in a saucepan until smooth.
- 2.Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously, until the sauce reaches a simmer.
- 3.Add labuyo and keep stirring for 3 to 5 minutes, until thickened.
- 4.Cool slightly before serving as a dip for fishballs.
