Cheesy Baked Bangus
Pan-seared bangus belly gets finished in the oven with mayonnaise, three cheeses, tomato, peppers, and garlic for a rich baked seafood dish.

Ingredients for Cheesy Baked Bangus
- 500 grams boneless bangus belly
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Oil, as needed
- 1 cup grated quick melt cheese
- 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1 small tomato, peeled, seeded, and chopped
- 2 tablespoons chopped red capsicum
- 2 tablespoons chopped green capsicum
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
How to cook Cheesy Baked Bangus
- 1.Season the bangus belly with lemon juice, salt, and freshly ground black pepper.
- 2.Heat a nonstick pan over medium-high heat, add a small amount of oil, and place the fish skin-side down; cook until the skin turns golden brown.
- 3.Flip the bangus and cook the other side until lightly browned, then remove it from the pan.
- 4.In a bowl, mix the quick melt cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, chopped tomato, red capsicum, green capsicum, and minced garlic.
- 5.Place the bangus on a lightly greased baking tray, spread mayonnaise over the top, and cover with the cheese mixture.
- 6.Bake in a preheated 180C oven for 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and lightly golden, then serve hot.
