Cheesy Pork Caldereta
Cheesy pork caldereta is a hearty tomato-based rib stew finished with liver spread, vegetables, seasoning, and melted cheddar.

Ingredients for Cheesy Pork Caldereta
- 3 lbs pork ribs
- 1 Knorr Pork Cube
- 1 teaspoon Knorr Liquid Seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup liver spread
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 3/4 cup green peas
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 cups water, divided
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
How to cook Cheesy Pork Caldereta
- 1.Season potatoes and carrots lightly with salt; air-fry at 350°F for 12 minutes and set aside.
- 2.Boil ribs in 2 cups water for 3 minutes, drain, and discard the water.
- 3.Heat oil in a clean pot; saute garlic until lightly brown, add onion until soft, then brown the ribs.
- 4.Add soy sauce and cook 1 minute; pour in tomato sauce and remaining 2 cups water, then bring to a boil.
- 5.Add pork cube, cover, and simmer 45 to 60 minutes until ribs are tender.
- 6.Stir in liver spread and tomato paste; add bell peppers, carrots, potatoes, and peas and cook 2 minutes.
- 7.Add cheese and liquid seasoning, cook 2 minutes more, then season with salt and pepper.
