Sinangag
Sinangag is a straightforward Filipino garlic fried rice with crisp golden garlic throughout.

Ingredients for Sinangag
- 4 cups leftover white rice
- 6 to 8 cloves garlic, pounded
- Oil, as needed
- Sea salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
How to cook Sinangag
- 1.Use clean hands to separate the cold rice into loose grains.
- 2.Heat a large wok over high heat and add enough oil to lightly coat its surface.
- 3.When the wok begins to smoke, lower the heat and fry garlic until golden brown.
- 4.Add rice and stir-fry continuously for 10–15 minutes until hot and evenly seasoned with garlic.
- 5.Season with sea salt and black pepper, then serve.
