  • 1 serving ensaladang talong
  • 4 cups steamed white rice
  • 2 to 4 salted duck eggs
  • 1/2 cup spiced vinegar
  • Clean banana leaves, for serving or wrapping

How to cook Special Pinoy Pork Chop Binalot Lunch Combo Meal

  1. 1.Prepare the grilled pork chops, tokwa and tuna, ensaladang talong, and steamed white rice according to their respective cooking methods. Keep the rice and pork chops warm if serving immediately.
  2. 2.Lay a clean, wide banana leaf on a table or tray. Place the steamed white rice in the center and arrange the grilled pork chops over or beside it.
  3. 3.Slice or arrange the salted duck eggs beside the rice and pork chops, using 2 to 4 eggs depending on the preferred saltiness and number of diners.
  4. 4.Place the tokwa and tuna and ensaladang talong in separate containers, preferably with lids, and set them on the banana leaf with the main dish.
  5. 5.Serve with spiced vinegar. For a packed or picnic meal, wrap the pork chops, rice, and salted eggs tightly in the banana leaf and ensure the tokwa and salad containers are sealed.
