Polvoron
Filipino Polvoron is a buttery, melt-in-the-mouth shortbread enriched with toasted pinipig.

Ingredients for Polvoron
- 3 1/2 cups sifted flour
- 2 1/2 cups sifted powdered full-cream milk
- 2 cups sifted caster sugar
- 1 cup toasted ground pinipig
- 1 cup butter, melted
How to cook Polvoron
- 1.Toast flour in a nonstick pan over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until lightly colored and fragrant.
- 2.Remove from heat while the flour is still hot.
- 3.Mix in powdered milk, caster sugar, ground pinipig, and melted butter until evenly combined.
- 4.Pack the mixture firmly into polvoron molds or small medicine cups, then tap out the cakes gently.
- 5.Chill until firm, then serve or wrap individually.
