Ginataang Alimasag with Sitaw at Kalabasa
Ginataang Alimasag is a creamy coconut crab dish with sweet kalabasa and tender sitaw.

Ingredients for Ginataang Alimasag with Sitaw at Kalabasa
- 3 crabs, steamed for 12 minutes
- 40 g Knorr Ginataang Gulay Recipe Mix
- 15 sitaw, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 12 oz calabaza squash (kalabasa), cubed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 thumb-size pieces ginger, minced
- 5 garlic cloves, crushed and chopped
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
- 2 1/2 cups water, room temperature
- Salt and ground black pepper, to taste (optional)
How to cook Ginataang Alimasag with Sitaw at Kalabasa
- 1.Heat oil in a wide pan over medium heat and sauté garlic, onion, and ginger until the onion is translucent.
- 2.Whisk the water and Knorr Ginataang Gulay Recipe Mix until smooth, pour into the pan, and bring to a boil.
- 3.Add steamed crab and kalabasa, cover, and boil for 5 minutes.
- 4.Add sitaw and cook for 8 minutes, until the squash is tender and the sauce is creamy.
- 5.Season with salt and black pepper if desired, then serve hot with rice.
