Adobong Sitaw at Kangkong with Chicharon is a quick vegetable adobo enriched by savory pork cracklings.

Ingredients for Adobong Sitaw at Kangkong with Chicharon
- 15 sitaw, cut into 2-inch lengths
- 1 bunch kangkong, leaves separated and stalks cut small
- 3/4 cup chicharon, preferably with meat
- 3 tablespoons vinegar
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 6 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 onion, minced
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 cup water
- Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
How to cook Adobong Sitaw at Kangkong with Chicharon
- 1.Heat oil in a pan. Sauté garlic and onion until the onion softens and garlic is lightly browned.
- 2.Add soy sauce, vinegar, and water; bring to a boil. Add chicharon, cover, and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
- 3.Add sitaw and cook 5 minutes. Add kangkong stalks and cook 3 minutes.
- 4.Stir in kangkong leaves and cook 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, then serve.
