Misua with Patola and Shrimp
Misua with Patola and Shrimp is a light tomato-based noodle soup finished with toasted garlic.

Ingredients for Misua with Patola and Shrimp
- 1 medium patola, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 lb shrimp, cleaned and peeled
- 2 oz misua noodles
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 small onion, minced
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon shrimp bouillon
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 4–5 cups water
- 3 tablespoons toasted garlic
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
How to cook Misua with Patola and Shrimp
- 1.Heat oil in a deep pot over medium heat; sauté onion and garlic until softened.
- 2.Stir in fish sauce, tomato sauce, and black pepper, then add shrimp and cook for 1 minute.
- 3.Pour in water and bring to a boil.
- 4.Add misua, shrimp bouillon, and patola; simmer for 3–6 minutes until noodles are tender and patola is soft.
- 5.Adjust with salt and pepper, transfer to a bowl, and top with toasted garlic.
