Misua
A light, savory Misua soup with pork, seafood, and tender vegetables.

Ingredients for Misua
- 60 g misua (about 3 bunches)
- 1/2 cup pork belly, cubed
- 1/2 cup shrimp
- 6 squid balls, quartered
- 1 cup cabbage, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 large red onion, minced
- 1 liter chicken broth
- 1 patola, sliced (optional)
- Fish sauce, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Cooking oil
How to cook Misua
- 1.Heat oil in a pot over medium heat; sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
- 2.Add pork belly and cook until browned and crisp at the edges; add squid balls and fry until heated through.
- 3.Pour in chicken broth and add patola, if using; boil, then simmer for 4 minutes.
- 4.Add misua, shrimp, and cabbage; simmer for 2 minutes, until shrimp are opaque and vegetables are tender.
- 5.Season with fish sauce and black pepper, then serve immediately.
