Ginisang Sitaw (String Bean Saute)
Quick sautéed sitaw with ground pork and fresh tomatoes.

Ingredients for Ginisang Sitaw (String Bean Saute)
- 12 string beans, cut into 2-inch lengths
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 6 oz ground pork
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
- Fish sauce and ground black pepper, to taste
- Water, as needed
How to cook Ginisang Sitaw (String Bean Saute)
- 1.Heat the oil over medium heat and sauté the garlic and onion until the onion softens.
- 2.Add the ground pork and cook until medium brown and no longer pink.
- 3.Mix in the tomatoes and cook for 1 minute until they begin to soften.
- 4.Add the sitaw and sauté for 1 minute.
- 5.Pour in a little water, bring to a boil, and cook until the sitaw is tender.
- 6.Season with fish sauce and pepper, then serve.
