Lawot Lawot
Lawot Lawot is a creamy coconut vegetable stew with pork and bagoong alamang.

Ingredients for Lawot Lawot
- 150 g pork belly, cubed
- 300 g okra, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1/4 squash or buttercup squash, cut into roughly 1-inch pieces
- 1 large bunch large-leaf spinach or alugbati
- 2 bunches kangkong, tender stalks and leaves only
- 3 medium tomatoes, diced
- 200 ml coconut cream
- 400 ml coconut milk
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons bagoong alamang
- Fish sauce or sea salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

How to cook Lawot Lawot
- 1.Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
- 2.Add pork and brown evenly, then stir-fry bagoong alamang for 1 minute.
- 3.Pour in coconut milk, add squash, okra, and tomatoes, then bring to a boil and simmer for 8 minutes.
- 4.Stir in coconut cream, kangkong, and spinach or alugbati; cook for 3 minutes until greens wilt.
- 5.Season with black pepper and fish sauce or sea salt as needed.
