Ingredients for Corned Beef Lomi Batangas Style
12 oz canned corned beef
1 Knorr Beef Cube
12 oz fresh noodles
1 carrot, minced
2 raw eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
5 tbsp cornstarch
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 boiled eggs
1 cup chicharon
6 cups water
1/2 cup cooking oil
Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
How to cook Corned Beef Lomi Batangas Style
1.Mix three-quarters of the corned beef, carrot, salt, pepper, 1 raw egg, and flour. Shape into meatballs and fry over low heat 1 1/2 minutes per side.
2.Using the remaining oil in a pot, sauté garlic until browning, then onion until soft. Add remaining corned beef and sauté 1 minute.
3.Add water and bring to a boil. Stir in Beef Cube and soy sauce, add noodles, cover, and cook 5 minutes.
4.Mix cornstarch with 1/2 cup water; stir into soup until thick. Add the remaining raw egg while stirring and cook 1 minute.
5.Add meatballs, season, and cook 3 minutes. Bowl the lomi and top with boiled eggs, chicharon, and green onions.
