Creamy Lengua with Corn
Tender lengua is simmered with corn in a silky mushroom-cream sauce.

Ingredients for Creamy Lengua with Corn
- 3 pounds ox tongue
- 1 Knorr Beef Cube
- 15 ounces whole kernel corn
- 10 ounces cream of mushroom
- 7 ounces all-purpose cream
- 1 onion, chopped
- 7 cloves garlic, crushed and minced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups water
- Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
How to cook Creamy Lengua with Corn
- 1.Pressure-cook ox tongue in water for 45 minutes until tender. Cool, peel away the outer layer, and slice into serving pieces.
- 2.Melt butter over low-medium heat; cook garlic until beginning to brown, then add onion and cook until tender.
- 3.Add sliced lengua and sauté 2 minutes. Add water and Beef Cube, bring to a boil, then add corn and cover for 20 minutes.
- 4.Stir in cream of mushroom and all-purpose cream; cook 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
