Ingredients for Salted Egg Boneless Bangus
- 750 g boneless bangus belly, cut into serving pieces
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Oil, for frying
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 salted duck egg yolks, mashed
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 red chili, sliced
How to cook Salted Egg Boneless Bangus
- 1.Season bangus with salt and pepper. Lightly coat with flour and shake off excess.
- 2.Fry in oil over medium heat until golden and crisp on both sides; remove and set aside.
- 3.Melt butter over low heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- 4.Add mashed salted egg yolks and stir into a paste. Whisk in coconut milk until smooth.
- 5.Add sugar, paprika, and chili; simmer until thick and glossy.
- 6.Return bangus to the pan or spoon sauce over it. Serve immediately with steamed rice.
