Tonkatsu Sinangag at Itlog is a crisp pork cutlet breakfast served with garlic rice and egg.

Ingredients for Tonkatsu Sinangag at Itlog
- 1 cup garlic fried rice (sinangag)
- 1 fried egg
- 1/2 cup tonkatsu sauce
- 1 5-ounce pork tenderloin slice or pork chop
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup cooking oil
How to cook Tonkatsu Sinangag at Itlog
- 1.Rub pork with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Rest for 5 minutes.
- 2.Heat oil in a pan over low-medium heat.
- 3.Coat pork in flour, then beaten egg, then panko, pressing crumbs over every surface.
- 4.Fry 7 minutes per side over low-medium heat until golden brown and cooked through.
- 5.Drain the cutlet briefly. Serve beside sinangag and fried egg with tonkatsu sauce.
