Stuffed Ampalaya
Stuffed Ampalaya bakes savory pork filling inside tender bitter melon rings.

Ingredients for Stuffed Ampalaya
- 2 ampalaya, about 10 to 12 inches each, cored and cut into 2-inch slices
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 3/4 cup carrots, minced
- 1 cup shredded bread
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 raw egg
How to cook Stuffed Ampalaya
- 1.Heat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2.Mix pork, onion, carrots, shredded bread, garlic powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and egg until evenly combined.
- 3.Pack the pork mixture into the hollow ampalaya slices.
- 4.Grease a baking pan and arrange the stuffed ampalaya in a single layer.
- 5.Bake for 22 to 26 minutes, until the pork is fully cooked, then serve.
