Corned Beef Spaghetti
Sweet-style spaghetti sauce gets a savory boost from canned corned beef and liver spread.

Ingredients for Corned Beef Spaghetti
- 500 g spaghetti noodles
- 400 g canned corned beef
- 2 tbsp liver spread
- 1 heaping tbsp tomato paste
- 1 large bottle sweet-style tomato ketchup or banana ketchup
- 1 can chopped tomatoes or tomato purée
- 1/2 cup beef stock
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 large white onion, finely chopped
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Sugar, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Oil, for cooking
How to cook Corned Beef Spaghetti
- 1.Cook spaghetti according to the package directions; drain.
- 2.Heat oil in a heavy pan over medium heat and sauté garlic and onion until softened.
- 3.Add corned beef and cook for 5 minutes, breaking it up as it heats.
- 4.Stir in ketchup, tomatoes or purée, tomato paste, liver spread, and beef stock; simmer 20 minutes, adding water if needed.
- 5.Season with pepper, salt, and sugar. Simmer 5 minutes more, then serve sauce over spaghetti.
