- 4 pounds goat meat, chopped
- 6–8 Thai chili peppers
- 3/4 cup green peas
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into squares
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into squares
- 10 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
- 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 cups beef broth
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
How to cook Spicy Calderetang Kambing with Peanut Butter (Goat Meat Caldereta)
- 1.Heat oil in a pot and sauté garlic, onion, and chilies for 3 minutes.
- 2.Add goat meat and sauté until lightly browned. Stir in tomato paste and tomato sauce.
- 3.Pour in beef broth, bring to a boil, cover, and cook over low-medium heat for 90 minutes or until tender.
- 4.Stir in peanut butter, salt, and pepper until smooth. Add peas and bell peppers, cover, and cook 8–10 minutes.
