Buchi
Buchi are sesame-coated glutinous rice balls with a sweet red bean paste center.

Ingredients for Buchi
- 3 cups glutinous rice flour
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 250 ml boiling water
- 1 1/2 cups or more red bean paste
- 1 cup sesame seeds
- Oil, for deep-frying
How to cook Buchi
- 1.Dissolve sugar in boiling water, then cool for 15 minutes.
- 2.Mix in glutinous rice flour and knead gently until a workable dough forms. Divide into 20 to 24 balls.
- 3.Flatten each ball, add 1 tablespoon red bean paste, seal into a ball, and roll in sesame seeds.
- 4.Heat oil in a deep fryer or wok over medium heat.
- 5.Deep-fry Buchi until golden brown and puffed.
- 6.Drain with a slotted spoon on paper towels; cool slightly before serving.
