Sipo Eggs
Sipo Eggs is a creamy Filipino shrimp and quail egg dish with crisp vegetables and cashews.

Ingredients for Sipo Eggs
- 20 quail eggs
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 4 ounces ham, minced (optional)
- 1 cup carrot, diced
- ¾ cup jicama, diced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 250 g NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream
- 1 cup green peas
- 4 g MAGGI Magic Sarap
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- 3 tablespoons roasted cashews
How to cook Sipo Eggs
- 1.Boil quail eggs for 2 minutes, cool, peel, and set aside.
- 2.Melt butter with oil in a wide pan over medium heat. Cook shrimp about 1 minute per side; remove.
- 3.Sauté garlic for 30 seconds, then add onion until softened. Add ham, carrot, and jicama; cook 1 minute.
- 4.Add chicken broth, boil, then simmer 3 minutes. Stir in cream and green peas; simmer 3 minutes.
- 5.Return shrimp, season with MAGGI Magic Sarap and pepper, then gently add quail eggs and cook 1–2 minutes.
- 6.Transfer to a serving dish, top with roasted cashews, and serve warm.
