Adobong Pulang Sitaw
Adobong pulang sitaw is a quick soy-seasoned bean dish that can be made with or without chicken.

Ingredients for Adobong Pulang Sitaw
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 pound chicken, optional, cut into bite-size cubes
- 1 pound long red Asian beans, washed, trimmed, and cut into 2-inch lengths
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari, plus more to taste
- White pepper, to taste
- 2 teaspoons chopped garlic chives or green onions, optional
How to cook Adobong Pulang Sitaw
- 1.Heat oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat; cook garlic for 20 to 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 2.If using chicken, add it, season with soy sauce and white pepper, and cook about 3 minutes until browned; remove.
- 3.Add long red Asian beans and stir-fry 1 to 2 minutes until just tender.
- 4.Season with soy sauce and white pepper. Return chicken, if using, and toss until coated.
- 5.Garnish with garlic chives or green onions and serve with rice.
