Tofu Balls with Miswa and Patola
Tofu Balls with Miswa and Patola is a satisfying shrimp-seasoned noodle soup with crisp-edged tofu dumplings.

Ingredients for Tofu Balls with Miswa and Patola
- 3 ounces misua
- 1 Knorr Shrimp Cube
- 1 patola, sliced
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 onion, minced
- Fish sauce and ground black pepper, to taste
- 5 cups water
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
- 1 lb firm tofu, pressed
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 carrot, minced
- 3 tablespoons minced green onion
- 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
How to cook Tofu Balls with Miswa and Patola
- 1.Press tofu dry and mash it with egg, carrot, minced green onion, minced onion, flour, salt, and pepper; shape into balls.
- 2.Heat the oil and fry tofu balls until medium brown outside; drain and set aside.
- 3.Heat 3 tablespoons frying oil in a pot; sauté garlic until browning, then cook onion until soft.
- 4.Add water and bring to a boil. Add Knorr Shrimp Cube and tofu balls; cook 3–5 minutes.
- 5.Add patola and cook 5 minutes until tender. Stir in misua and season with fish sauce and pepper.
- 6.Serve topped with chopped green onions.
