- 4 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp flour
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 white onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp liquid seasoning
- 1 cup beef stock
- 1 cup beef roast drippings
- 1/4 cup fried garlic
How to cook Grilled Pork Ala Pobre
- 1.Season pork belly steaks with salt and pepper; let stand at room temperature while preparing the sauce.
- 2.Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat; sauté garlic and onion until the onion is soft.
- 3.Stir in flour until evenly combined.
- 4.Whisk in beef stock, roast drippings, and liquid seasoning; simmer on low 30 minutes until smooth and thickened.
- 5.Grill pork steaks to your preferred doneness.
- 6.Plate pork, spoon over gravy, and finish generously with fried garlic.
