Sinigang na Pritong Isda
Crispy fried pompano softens in a bright, tamarind-sour Sinigang broth.

Ingredients for Sinigang na Pritong Isda
- 1 large crispy fried pompano
- 1 packet tamarind mix (Sinigang mix)
- 3 large tomatoes, chopped
- 1 large red onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 bunch bok choy
- 12 okra
- 2 green finger chilies
- Fish sauce
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 litre water
- 3 red chilies
- Oil
How to cook Sinigang na Pritong Isda
- 1.Heat a little oil from frying the fish in a pot over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
- 2.Add water and bring to a boil. Add fried pompano, okra, tomatoes, and tamarind mix.
- 3.Lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Add bok choy, green finger chilies, and red chilies.
- 4.Simmer 2 minutes, until bok choy is just tender. Season with fish sauce and black pepper.
