Adobong Okra with Pork
Adobong Okra with Pork brings tender pork belly and okra together in a soy-vinegar braise.

Ingredients for Adobong Okra with Pork
- 12 okra
- 1/2 lb pork belly, sliced small
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
- Salt, to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste
How to cook Adobong Okra with Pork
- 1.Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and cook garlic until medium brown.
- 2.Add pork belly and cook for 2 minutes.
- 3.Add soy sauce and water, cover, and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes or until pork is tender.
- 4.Add more water if needed, then pour in vinegar and let the liquid return to a boil.
- 5.Add okra, stir, cover, and cook for 5 minutes until tender.
- 6.Stir in sugar, salt, and pepper, then serve.
