Luncheon Meat Caldereta
Luncheon Meat Caldereta turns crisp luncheon meat into a speedy tomato-and-liver-spread stew.

Ingredients for Luncheon Meat Caldereta
- 350 g CDO Luncheon Meat, cubed
- 3/4 cup tomato sauce
- 3 tbsp liver spread
- 1 potato, cubed
- 1 carrot, cubed
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup green peas
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 tbsp shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup water
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
- Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
How to cook Luncheon Meat Caldereta
- 1.Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry luncheon meat on all sides until browned; set aside.
- 2.Sauté garlic and onion in the remaining oil until the onion softens.
- 3.Add liver spread and cook for 30 seconds, then add tomato sauce and water and bring to a boil.
- 4.Add potato and carrot, cover, and cook for 10 minutes until nearly tender.
- 5.Stir in peas, bell peppers, and luncheon meat; cook 2 minutes, then season and top with cheddar.
