Ingredients for Oven Baked Pork Chop Silog with Atchara

  • 3 pork chops
  • 6 fried eggs
  • 3 cups sinangag (garlic fried rice)
  • 1/2 cup papaya atchara
  • 1 raw egg
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons cooking oil

How to cook Oven Baked Pork Chop Silog with Atchara

  1. 1.Rub pork chops with salt and black pepper; rest 10–15 minutes. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. 2.Beat raw egg in one bowl and place flour in another. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. 3.Coat each pork chop in flour, egg, then flour again. Fry 1 minute per side and place on a baking tray.
  4. 4.Bake 35 minutes, until pork is cooked through.
  5. 5.Serve each pork chop with 1 cup sinangag, 2 fried eggs, and papaya atchara.
