Bangus Sisig

Ingredients for Bangus Sisig
- 1 fried or baked bangus, flaked
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup scallions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon labuyo or Thai chili, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons ginger, minced (optional)
- 1 cup crushed chicharon
- 1/2 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
How to cook Bangus Sisig
- 1.Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat; cook the onion for 3 minutes until softened.
- 2.Add the ginger, if using, and cook over low-medium heat for 2 minutes.
- 3.Stir in the flaked bangus, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and soy sauce; cook for 5 minutes.
- 4.Add chicharon, scallions, and chili; stir for 3 minutes until heated through.
- 5.Fold in mayonnaise, transfer to a serving plate, and serve immediately.
