Ingredients for Spicy Sardinas with Patola and Miswa
- 1 large can (15 oz) spicy sardines in tomato sauce
- 1 patola (loofah), peeled and sliced
- 3 oz miswa (misua)
- 6 Thai chillies or siling labuyo
- 4 cups water
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Fish sauce (patis), to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
How to cook Spicy Sardinas with Patola and Miswa
- 1.Heat oil in a cooking pot and sauté onion until soft.
- 2.Add sardines with their tomato sauce, chili peppers, and garlic powder; cook for 2 minutes.
- 3.Pour in water, stir, and bring to a boil.
- 4.Add miswa and patola; cook 3–5 minutes until noodles are tender and patola is soft.
- 5.Season with patis and black pepper, then serve hot.
