Spicy Pork Ribs Adobo reduces pork ribs in a fiery, sweet-sour soy and vinegar sauce.

Ingredients for Spicy Pork Ribs Adobo
- 3 lbs pork ribs
- 1 head garlic, minced
- 5 tablespoons soy sauce
- 8 tablespoons white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 3 dried bay leaves
- 2 teaspoons chili flakes
- 10 Thai chili peppers
- 2 teaspoons peppercorns, cracked
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup lemon-lime soda
- 1 cup water, plus more as needed
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
How to cook Spicy Pork Ribs Adobo
- 1.Toss pork ribs with salt and rest for 5 minutes.
- 2.Heat oil in a wide pan over medium-high heat; stir-fry ribs for about 3 minutes until browned at the edges, then cook garlic for 1 minute.
- 3.Add soy sauce, vinegar, oyster sauce, lemon-lime soda, water, peppercorns, and bay leaves; bring to a boil.
- 4.Cover and simmer until ribs are tender, adding a little water if the pan dries out.
- 5.Add chili flakes and cook uncovered until the sauce reduces and clings to the ribs.
- 6.Toss in Thai chilies until evenly distributed, then serve warm with steamed rice.
