Ingredients for Spicy Ginisang Okra with Tinapa
- 350 g baby okra, ends trimmed
- 150 g tinapa, flaked and deboned
- 4 dried chilies, sliced
- 2 shallots, chopped
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup water
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Oil, for cooking
How to cook Spicy Ginisang Okra with Tinapa
- 1.Heat oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat. Sauté garlic, shallots, and dried chilies until fragrant.
- 2.Add flaked tinapa and cook for 2 minutes.
- 3.Add okra and stir-fry over high heat for 5 minutes.
- 4.Add water, reduce heat to medium, and simmer 5 minutes until the okra is tender but still slightly crisp.
- 5.Season with salt and pepper, cook 2 minutes more, and serve hot with rice.
