Binatog
Binatog is warm, burst hominy topped simply with coconut, butter, sugar, and salt.

Ingredients for Binatog
- 800 g white hominy
- 1 cup freshly grated coconut
- White sugar, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Butter, to taste
How to cook Binatog
- 1.Drain the hominy and rinse it well under running water.
- 2.Place hominy in a pot and add enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, then simmer over low heat 20 minutes until kernels burst open.
- 3.Divide warm hominy among bowls and top with grated coconut, butter, sugar, and salt to taste.
