Panlasang Pinoy Bibingkang Galapong
Traditional bibingkang galapong that is creamy, buttery, and topped with cheddar.

Ingredients for Panlasang Pinoy Bibingkang Galapong
- 1/4 cup glutinous rice (malagkit)
- 1/2 cup Jasmine rice
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 1/4 cups coconut cream (kakang gata)
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 5 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
How to cook Panlasang Pinoy Bibingkang Galapong
- 1.Soak the malagkit and Jasmine rice overnight in 1 1/2 cups water.
- 2.Preheat the oven to 188°C. Drain the rice and process with the coconut cream until very smooth.
- 3.Add the eggs, salt, sugar, baking powder, and 4 tbsp melted butter; process for 1–2 minutes until combined.
- 4.Line a 9-inch round pan with fresh banana leaves, pour in the batter, and bake for 35 minutes.
- 5.Cool slightly, transfer to a plate, and brush with the remaining butter. Sprinkle with cheddar before serving.
