Ingredients for Ginataang Sitaw at Kalabasa with Fried Tilapia
- 3 pounds tilapia, cleaned and scaled
- 45 g Knorr Ginataang Gulay Mix
- 1 pound calabaza squash (kalabasa), sliced
- 12 string beans, cut into 2-inch lengths
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed and chopped
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup cooking oil
- 3 tablespoons salt
How to cook Ginataang Sitaw at Kalabasa with Fried Tilapia
- 1.Wash tilapia thoroughly, pat dry, and rub salt over the fish and inside the cavities.
- 2.Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat; fry tilapia until each side is golden brown and crisp, then set aside.
- 3.In another pan, sauté garlic and onion until fragrant; add kalabasa and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- 4.Add string beans and cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes.
- 5.Dissolve Knorr Ginataang Gulay Mix in water, pour into the pan, cover, and bring to a boil.
- 6.Cook 5 to 7 minutes until vegetables are tender, then serve with fried tilapia.
