Ginisang Bunga ng Malunggay
Ginisang Bunga ng Malunggay is a hearty pork and vegetable sauté with tender moringa pulp.

Ingredients for Ginisang Bunga ng Malunggay
- About 15 malunggay (moringa) fruits
- 1 medium sweet potato, cut into thin strips
- 1 cup cooked patani (lima beans)
- 300 g pork belly, cut into small cubes
- 1 1/2 cups pork stock
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Fish sauce
- Oil
How to cook Ginisang Bunga ng Malunggay
- 1.Split each malunggay fruit lengthwise and quarter it. Scrape out the pulp in strips, then cut into 2-inch pieces.
- 2.Heat oil in a wok over medium heat. Sauté garlic and onion until aromatic.
- 3.Add pork belly and brown on all sides for 5 minutes. Add tomato and cook for 1 minute.
- 4.Add pork stock, malunggay pulp, patani, and sweet potato. Bring to a boil, then simmer 5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- 5.Season with fish sauce and black pepper, then serve.
