Pork Giniling Kaldereta
Pork giniling kaldereta is a thick tomato-and-liver-spread stew that comes together quickly for rice meals.

Ingredients for Pork Giniling Kaldereta
- 1 1/2 lbs ground pork
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 small red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup carrots, cubed
- 1/4 cup liver spread
- 1/4 cup green olives
- 1 pork cube
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 small yellow onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed and chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
How to cook Pork Giniling Kaldereta
- 1.Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic and onion until onion softens.
- 2.Add ground pork and cook, stirring occasionally, until light to medium brown.
- 3.Add pork cube and liver spread; stir and cook 5 minutes.
- 4.Stir in tomato sauce and water. Cover and simmer 15–20 minutes.
- 5.Add red pepper flakes, carrots, and olives; cook 7 minutes. Add bell peppers and cook 5 minutes.
- 6.Season with salt and pepper; cook until excess liquid evaporates, then serve with white rice.
