Ingredients for Fish in Coconut Milk with Pineapple
- 1 whole fish, cleaned
- 40 g Knorr Ginataang Gulay Mix
- 3 thumbs ginger, sliced
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 3 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 bunch baby bok choy
- 1 onion, chopped
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1½ cups water
- Fish sauce, to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup cooking oil
How to cook Fish in Coconut Milk with Pineapple
- 1.Rub the fish all over with salt and let stand for 10 minutes.
- 2.Heat oil to 350°F in a pan. Fry fish on both sides until golden and cooked through; drain on a rack or paper towels.
- 3.Heat 3 tablespoons frying oil in a clean pan. Sauté garlic until browning, then add onion and ginger until the onion softens.
- 4.Whisk Knorr Ginataang Gulay Mix with water. Add to the pan and bring to a boil.
- 5.Reduce to medium heat, add pineapple and fried fish, cover, and cook for 3 minutes.
- 6.Add bell peppers and baby bok choy; cook uncovered for 3 minutes. Season with fish sauce and pepper, then serve hot with rice.
