Ginataang Bitsuelas
Ginataang Bitsuelas pairs pork and green beans in a fragrant bagoong alamang coconut sauce.

Ingredients for Ginataang Bitsuelas
- 2 cups long green beans, sliced
- 1 cup spinach
- 3 tablespoons shrimp paste (bagoong alamang)
- 3 oz pork, thinly sliced
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 3 Thai chilies, chopped
- 1 thumb-sized ginger, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- Ground black pepper, to taste
How to cook Ginataang Bitsuelas
- 1.Heat oil in a pan over medium heat; sauté onion, garlic, and ginger until the onion softens.
- 2.Add pork and cook until lightly browned.
- 3.Pour in coconut milk and bring to a boil. Add Thai chilies, cover, and cook over low-medium heat for 15 minutes.
- 4.Stir in bagoong alamang and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
- 5.Add long green beans and cook 3 minutes, then add spinach and cook 1 minute.
- 6.Season with black pepper and serve.
