Sago at Gulaman
Sago at Gulaman is an iced banana-scented drink with chewy tapioca and almond jelly.

Ingredients for Sago at Gulaman
- 1 pouch unflavored gelatin powder
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 3 drops almond extract
- 1/4 cup uncooked tapioca pearls
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- 4 cups water, chilled
- Banana essence, a few drops
- Ice cubes
How to cook Sago at Gulaman
- 1.Prepare gelatin according to its package, using 1 1/4 cups water, milk, sugar, and almond extract. Chill until firm, then cut into small pieces.
- 2.Boil tapioca pearls in water for 10 minutes, strain and rinse, then return them to the boiling water until translucent with no white centers.
- 3.Boil brown sugar and 1 cup water over medium heat for 7 to 10 minutes, until dissolved and syrupy. Cool.
- 4.Combine chilled water with half the syrup, banana essence, tapioca, gulaman, and ice. Add more syrup to taste.
