Tinapa Fried Rice
Tinapa Fried Rice is a smoky, turmeric-tinted breakfast rice with crisp smoked fish and egg.

Ingredients for Tinapa Fried Rice
- 6 cups cold cooked rice
- 150 g flaked tinapang galunggong or other smoked fish
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 spring onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp Maggi Savor
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Cooking oil
How to cook Tinapa Fried Rice
- 1.Break up cold rice with clean hands until no clumps remain.
- 2.Heat oil in a wok over medium heat. Sauté garlic until fragrant, then add smoked fish and cook until golden with crisp edges.
- 3.Add turmeric and rice. Raise heat to high and stir-fry for 3 minutes.
- 4.Push rice aside and add beaten eggs. Let set before scrambling and mixing through the rice.
- 5.Add spring onions and stir-fry 2 minutes. Season with Maggi Savor, pepper, and salt to taste.
