Ginataang Langka
Ginataang Langka is a creamy coconut braise of young jackfruit, pork belly, and optional shrimp.

Ingredients for Ginataang Langka
- 300 g young jackfruit, sliced
- 150 g pork belly, cubed
- 150 g shrimp, optional
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 thumb-sized piece ginger, sliced
- 8 finger chilies
- 3 cups coconut milk, divided
- Fish sauce, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

How to cook Ginataang Langka
- 1.Heat oil in a wok over medium heat; sauté garlic, onion, finger chilies, and ginger until fragrant.
- 2.Add pork belly and stir-fry until browned on all sides.
- 3.Pour in 2 cups coconut milk, bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.
- 4.Add young jackfruit and simmer for 20 minutes, until tender and most liquid has reduced.
- 5.Add remaining coconut milk and shrimp, if using; simmer 5 minutes until shrimp are opaque.
- 6.Season with fish sauce and black pepper, then serve.
