Ginataang Kangkong
Ginataang Kangkong with prawns is a creamy coconut vegetable dish brightened by red chilies.

Ingredients for Ginataang Kangkong
- 1 large bunch kangkong, trimmed
- 250 g shelled prawns
- 1 can (400 g) coconut milk
- 1 can (200 g) coconut cream
- 3 long red chilies, sliced
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- Fish sauce, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Oil, for cooking
How to cook Ginataang Kangkong
- 1.Heat oil in a wok over medium heat. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant and softened.
- 2.Add coconut milk, bring to a boil, and simmer over medium heat 10 minutes until slightly thickened.
- 3.Add kangkong, chilies, prawns, and coconut cream. Simmer 5 minutes until prawns are pink and cooked through.
- 4.Season with fish sauce and black pepper, then serve.
