Lechon Sinigang
Lechon Sinigang turns crisp roast pork into a deeply savory tamarind soup with fresh vegetables.

Ingredients for Lechon Sinigang
- 2 lbs lechon, cut into serving pieces
- 22 g Knorr Sinigang sa Sampaloc Original
- 1 daikon radish, sliced
- 15 string beans, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 Chinese eggplants, sliced
- 2 long green peppers
- 10 okra
- 2 onions, wedged
- 2 tomatoes, wedged
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 bunch water spinach (kangkong)
- 1 1/2 quarts water
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
- Fish sauce, to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste
How to cook Lechon Sinigang
- 1.Heat oil in a pot and sauté garlic, onion, and tomato until the onion softens.
- 2.Add lechon and sauté for 2 minutes.
- 3.Pour in water, cover, and bring to a boil.
- 4.Stir in sinigang mix, cover, and simmer on the lowest heat for 30 minutes.
- 5.Add daikon and cook for 5 minutes. Add peppers, okra, string beans, and eggplant; cook 5 minutes.
- 6.Add kangkong and cook 2 minutes. Season with fish sauce and black pepper, then serve hot with rice.
